Architectural contest upon invitation for the restyling of Hotel Monopole – Downtown Milan

Year 2016

The Monopole hotel’s restyling project, developed in collaboration with Architects Giulia Isella and Andrea Davanzo of www.wherelse.it, our partners for integrated design, foresees a regeneration of the entire structure of the hotel. 
Substantial choices made on the main tower, combined with small, specific intervention on the internal tower already renovated, generate a completely new complex that guarantees a unique customer experience reflecting the new identity that Milan has assumed today.
The new project completely revises the entrance hall and the building links removing all those impediments and defects that penalized the hotel.
The position of the breakfast area and the lounge bar combined with the double height of the entrance hall create now a unique and recognizable environment.
The energetic improvements provided in the renovation guarantee the possibility to expand the hotel to the eight floor, recovering rooms and adding a panoramic terrace.  
The façade is reconsidered to give a new image to the hotel and to improve the quality of space in the rooms, as well as to ensure a better management of natural lightening and a better energetic efficiency of the building.
